TGT English Teacher – Haldia Lions Model School, Sutahata, Purba Medinipur
Haldia Lions Model School in West Bengal is looking for a full‑time TGT English Teacher to join its faculty in Sutahata, Purba Medinipur. The role involves delivering English curriculum to classes 6‑10 and fostering language proficiency among students.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging English lessons in accordance with the school syllabus, using a mix of interactive methods, audio‑visual aids and reading materials. Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments and periodic tests, and provide constructive feedback to help learners improve. Maintain classroom discipline, prepare lesson plans, and collaborate with senior staff for curriculum development and co‑curricular activities.
Qualifications and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in English or related field with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum of 4 years teaching experience at the secondary level. Preference given to candidates who have cleared TET/CTET, though it is not mandatory.
Salary
Rs.25,000 – Rs.35,000 per month, payable as per school policy.
