Job Description
PRT Music Teacher Position at Brightland Public School in Etah
This role is for a Primary Teacher (PRT) to teach music to students in grades 1 to 5 at Brightland Public School in Etah. You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging music lessons, fostering students' interest in rhythm, melody, and basic musical instruments. This position focuses on developing foundational musical skills through interactive activities, group performances, and simple compositions.
You will create lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum while adapting content to suit different age groups. Daily classes will include singing warm-ups, instrument exploration (like xylophones or drums), and basic music theory through games. Occasional parent-teacher meetings will help discuss student progress and musical development. The school encourages creativity, so you’ll also be expected to bring innovative ideas to lessons, such as themed music days or field trips to local music centers.
To qualify, you must hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from a recognized university. A graduation degree in music or a related field is preferred, though not mandatory. While TET/CTET certification isn’t required, having it would strengthen your application. Your teaching experience must include at least three years, with at least one year specifically in music education or a similar subject.
Brightland Public School values hands-on experience, so prior teaching in primary schools or music education programs would be beneficial. If you’ve worked with diverse student groups or integrated music into broader curriculum activities, that experience will be particularly valuable.
This full-time position pays between Rs.18,000 and Rs.30,000 per month, depending on qualifications and performance. The role is based in Etah, Uttar Pradesh, and the school operates in a rural setting with a focus on holistic student development. You’ll teach in a well-equipped music room with basic instruments, and the school provides support for lesson planning and professional development.
The school environment is collaborative, with opportunities to collaborate with other teachers and participate in school events. If you’re passionate about music education and eager to inspire young learners, this could be a rewarding opportunity to grow both professionally and personally.

About School
Teaching at Brightland Public School feels like being part of a community that has grown together since its first day in 2007. The campus on G.T. Road, just off Gali Karwala, buzzes with the chatter of younger children, while the senior wing at the 5th Milestone on Shikohabad Road carries a more measured rhythm as adolescents prepare for board exams. Both sites share the same English‑medium, CBSE framework, so whether you are guiding a class of five‑year‑olds or a group...
