TGT English Teacher Position at Sri R.M. Jain Vidhyashram in Tiruvallur
Sri R.M. Jain Vidhyashram seeks a dedicated TGT English Teacher to lead English language instruction across Grades 6 to 12 in Tiruvallur. This role requires a passionate educator with a strong command of grammar, literature, and modern English pedagogy to shape students’ linguistic and critical thinking skills.
The teacher will design and deliver engaging lesson plans, incorporating interactive methods like debates, poetry recitals, and creative writing workshops. Daily classroom duties include conducting grammar drills, reading sessions, and thematic discussions on contemporary literature and global perspectives. Assisting in school events like inter-house competitions, cultural fests, and language workshops will also form part of the responsibilities.
Teaching assessment and feedback will be a key part of the role—adjusting instruction based on student performance while maintaining high academic standards. Collaboration with the English department will ensure alignment with curriculum guidelines and innovative teaching strategies.
A postgraduate degree in English or a related field along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is preferred. The salary for this position is Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month, with full-time employment in Tiruvallur.
