Teaching dance classes to students in a structured yet creative way is the daily responsibility of a PRT Dance Teacher at Sri R.M. Jain Vidhyashram. This role involves guiding young learners through various dance forms, ensuring they develop technical skills, rhythm, and confidence through hands-on training.
The PRT Dance Teacher will design and conduct classes covering Indian classical dances like Bharatanatyam, Kathak, and contemporary styles. Lessons are tailored to students’ ages and skill levels, blending theory with practical performance. The school emphasizes cultural appreciation, so the teacher must introduce students to traditional music, costumes, and storytelling through dance.
Planning and assessment are key parts of the job. Weekly lesson plans are prepared based on curriculum guidelines, while regular evaluations help track progress. Students may perform in school events, competitions, or cultural festivals, requiring preparation of routines and feedback sessions.
