The primary responsibility of this position is to deliver high-quality Sanskrit instruction across various grades, ensuring alignment with curriculum guidelines while fostering a deep appreciation for the language’s historical and philosophical significance. You will design and implement lesson plans that incorporate interactive teaching techniques, such as storytelling, poetry recitation, and cultural activities, to make learning both effective and enjoyable. Regular assessment of students’ progress will be conducted through continuous evaluation methods, ensuring they grasp fundamental concepts while expanding their linguistic and literary skills. Collaboration with the academic team will be essential to integrate Sanskrit studies with other subjects, promoting cross-disciplinary learning opportunities. Additionally, you will participate in school events, workshops, and extracurricular activities that highlight Sanskrit’s role in preserving India’s cultural legacy, including festivals, competitions, and community outreach programs.
To qualify for this role, a postgraduate degree in Sanskrit or a related field is mandatory, along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as per government guidelines. Four years of teaching experience, preferably in Sanskrit or classical languages, is highly preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this position, it will be an asset. Your ability to communicate clearly, adapt teaching methods to diverse student needs, and maintain a strong commitment to the school’s values will be key to success in this role.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs.25,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment in Coimbatore North, Tamilnadu.
