TGT Chemistry Teacher Job in Thane, Maharastra
Euro School in Thane seeks a dedicated TGT Chemistry Teacher to join its vibrant academic community. This full-time role requires a passionate educator with a postgraduate degree in Chemistry, along with at least two years of relevant teaching experience. The salary for this position is competitive, offering Rs.24,000 to Rs.50,000 per month, tailored to performance and qualifications.
A typical week for this role revolves around lesson planning, classroom instruction, and student engagement. Your day would begin with preparing engaging chemistry lessons, aligning them with the school’s curriculum and board syllabus. You’d deliver lectures, conduct practical demonstrations, and foster hands-on learning through experiments and group discussions. Interactive teaching methods, like quiz sessions and project-based activities, would keep students engaged while reinforcing key concepts.
Beyond direct teaching, you’d collaborate with other faculty members to develop interdisciplinary projects, ensuring chemistry integrates seamlessly with other subjects. Assessing student progress through exams, assignments, and continuous evaluation is also part of your responsibilities. You’d also handle administrative tasks like maintaining student records, updating grade books, and attending parent-teacher meetings to support academic growth.
Periodic responsibilities include organizing science fairs, workshops, or field trips to deepen students’ understanding of chemistry. You might also mentor students in extracurricular science clubs or help prepare them for competitive exams like JEE or NEET. Staying updated with the latest educational trends and teaching innovations is essential, so you’d regularly review research papers and attend professional development workshops.
The role demands a balance between creativity in teaching and structured lesson delivery. Your ability to simplify complex chemical concepts for students while maintaining high academic standards will be key. A supportive and dynamic school environment at Euro School means you’ll work alongside motivated peers and contribute to a culture of excellence in science education.

It feels less like an institution and more like a familiar part of the community, a place where neighbours know each...
