PGT Economics Teacher – Euro School, Thane
Euro School in Thane is hiring a full‑time PGT Economics teacher to deliver engaging economics lessons to senior secondary students. The role involves planning classes, assessing student progress and contributing to the school’s academic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct classroom teaching of Economics for classes XI and XII in line with the prescribed syllabus.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets and practical examples that relate economic theory to real‑world scenarios.
- Evaluate student work, provide feedback and maintain accurate records of performance.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events and occasional parent‑teacher interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Post‑graduate degree in Economics or related field.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory.
- TET/CTET certification is preferred but not essential.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level, preferably in a school setting.
Salary & Benefits
- Remuneration ranging from Rs.35,000 to Rs.60,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
