Job Description
Physics Teaching Responsibilities at Allen Career Institute
Teach Physics to students in classes covering the 9th to 12th grade curriculum, ensuring alignment with CBSE and state board syllabi. Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that incorporate practical experiments, visual demonstrations, and interactive problem-solving sessions tailored to different learning levels.
Prepare and assess students’ practical exams, including lab-based assignments and theoretical evaluations, using standardized marking schemes. Maintain a clear and structured approach to grading, ensuring fair and consistent feedback for all students.
Facilitate hands-on lab work and field experiments where applicable, supervising students safely and guiding them through equipment handling and data analysis. Collaborate with the Physics lab staff to ensure proper maintenance and availability of lab resources.
Engage students in group discussions and project-based learning to deepen their understanding of fundamental physics concepts like mechanics, electricity, thermodynamics, and modern physics. Use real-world examples and case studies to make complex theories more relatable and practical.
Assist in organizing and participating in school-level physics competitions, science fairs, and inter-school events to encourage student interest and participation. Actively contribute to the school’s academic growth by sharing innovative teaching methods and resources with colleagues.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Hold a graduate degree in Physics or a related science stream with a minimum of three years of teaching experience. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as mandatory qualifications.
