Job Description
Post: Primary Teacher (PRT) – Music at Rishikul Vidyapeeth, Sonipat
Teach fundamental music concepts to students in Classes I to V, ensuring engaging and age-appropriate lessons. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum, focusing on instruments, theory, and basic performance skills.
Incorporate interactive activities like singing games, rhythm exercises, and simple compositions to enhance learning. Collaborate with the music department to organize school events, concerts, and cultural programs, fostering creativity and teamwork.
Maintain a structured classroom environment, track student progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Ensure all teaching materials, including sheet music and instruments, are available and well-maintained.
Graduate with at least a degree in Music or a related field. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential for this role. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is required.
Applicants must be eligible for TET/CTET certification, though it is not mandatory for this position. The salary for this full-time position is Rs.16,000 to Rs.25,000 per month. The role is based in Sonipat, Haryana.
