Job Description
Supreme Public School located in Jind, Haryana is looking for a full‑time Primary Teacher (PRT) to teach Hindi to young learners. The role involves creating an engaging classroom environment and supporting the overall development of students in the primary section.
Daily responsibilities
- Conduct Hindi language lessons for primary classes, focusing on speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
- Prepare and deliver short, interactive activities that reinforce vocabulary and grammar concepts.
- Assess student understanding through oral questioning and simple written tasks, providing immediate feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe, inclusive learning atmosphere.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle
- Design and update lesson plans in line with the state curriculum and school guidelines.
- Conduct periodic assessments, record marks and communicate progress to parents during meetings.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate Hindi with other subjects for thematic learning.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and school events as required.
Periodic responsibilities
- Organize Hindi cultural programs, competitions and exhibitions at the end of each term.
- Contribute to the preparation of term‑end reports and assist in the evaluation of student performance.
- Support school initiatives such as festivals, health camps and community outreach activities.
Qualification and experience
- Graduate degree in any discipline.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential.
- Minimum two years of teaching experience in a primary school setting.
- TET/CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Good command of Hindi language and basic computer literacy.
Salary and location
- Salary: Rs.16,000 – Rs.25,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
