Position summary
PRT Dance Teacher Job in Jind, Haryana | School Recruitment
Lumina World School | Jind seeks an experienced PRT Dance Teacher to enrich the creative arts program. The role involves delivering engaging dance lessons to students in a vibrant school environment, fostering physical expression and cultural appreciation.
Reporting and scope
Reports to the Head of Department of Physical and Recreational Training.
Core duties
Curriculum delivery
Plan and conduct dance classes aligned with the school curriculum, ensuring age‑appropriate techniques and safety.
Student development
Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and encourage participation in school performances and inter‑school events.
Co‑ordination
Collaborate with other PRT teachers to integrate dance into interdisciplinary projects and school festivals.
Resource management
Maintain dance equipment, arrange for costumes and props, and ensure the studio is clean and safe for all students.
Community engagement
Represent the school at local dance competitions, workshops, and cultural exchanges, promoting the institution’s artistic reputation.
Qualification and experience
Graduate degree in any discipline. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in dance, preferably in a school setting. B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred; TET/CTET not mandatory.
Compensation and location
Full‑time position with a salary range of Rs.18,000 – Rs.30,000 per month. Based in Jind, Haryana.
