Job Description
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons for classes IX‑X, ensuring each session aligns with the school’s academic goals. Design assessments that accurately gauge student understanding and provide constructive feedback. Track individual student progress, maintain records, and adjust teaching strategies to support varied learning needs. Collaborate with fellow faculty to integrate cross‑disciplinary projects and maintain a cohesive learning environment.
Key Duties
Prepare detailed lesson plans that incorporate practical coding exercises, problem‑solving activities and theoretical concepts. Align teaching content with the school’s overall curriculum framework, avoiding reference to specific boards or textbooks. Develop formative and summative assessments, including quizzes, projects and practical exams. Analyse assessment data to identify trends, intervene where necessary, and report progress to parents and senior management.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Computer Science or related field. Must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Minimum two years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably at the secondary level.
Skills and Attributes
Strong command of programming fundamentals, algorithms and digital literacy. Ability to simplify complex topics for young learners. Proficiency in using educational technology and classroom management tools. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a collaborative mindset.
Experience
At least 2 years of full‑time teaching experience in Computer Science for grades IX‑X, with a proven record of effective lesson planning and student outcome improvement.
Salary
Rs.40,000 - Rs.60,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
