Job Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging dance lessons tailored to diverse student abilities, ensuring alignment with the curriculum and school objectives.
- Develop and maintain a safe, inclusive studio environment, managing equipment and space efficiently.
- Assess student progress through regular performances, assignments, and feedback sessions, adjusting instruction accordingly.
- Coordinate and rehearse school events, cultural programs, and inter‑school competitions, ensuring professional presentation.
- Mentor and guide students in technique, choreography, and stage presence, fostering confidence and artistic growth.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrators to integrate dance into cross‑disciplinary projects and school celebrations.
- Maintain accurate attendance, progress reports, and documentation in line with school policies.
- Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and training sessions to stay current with pedagogical practices and dance trends.
- Engage parents through progress talks and showcase performances, building strong community ties.
- Contribute to the development of the school’s extracurricular calendar, suggesting new dance activities and programs.
