PGT Business Studies Teacher Position at Gav International School, Gurugram
Gav International School in Dlf 3, Gurugram, seeks a dedicated PGT Business Studies Teacher to inspire and guide high school students with a strong foundation in commerce principles. This role involves shaping young minds through engaging lessons, fostering critical thinking, and preparing them for future academic and professional challenges. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for teaching Business Studies while aligning with the school’s global educational standards.
Daily Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging classroom sessions covering core Business Studies topics like accounting, economics, and entrepreneurship. Prepare interactive lessons, use visual aids, and encourage student participation through group discussions and case studies. Maintain organized lesson plans, ensuring alignment with the curriculum while adapting to student learning needs. Monitor student progress in real-time, providing timely feedback and support.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update teaching resources, including worksheets, presentations, and assessment materials to support diverse learning styles. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Business Studies concepts into interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular activities. Attend faculty meetings and professional development workshops to stay updated on industry trends and teaching methodologies. Participate in parent-teacher interactions to discuss student performance and academic growth.
Periodic Responsibilities
Conduct unit assessments and evaluations to measure student understanding of Business Studies concepts. Organize departmental reviews to refine teaching strategies and curriculum effectiveness. Represent the school at industry-related events, workshops, or competitions to promote Business Studies awareness in the community.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Business Studies, Commerce, or a related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a passion for teaching high school students. Two years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in Business Studies or commerce-related subjects, is essential. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
Salary and Location
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.38,000 to Rs.70,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience. This position is based in Gurugram, Haryana, with the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and inclusive learning environment at Gav International School.
