Indraprastha International School in Dwarka, South West Delhi, seeks a dedicated PGT Physics Teacher to lead high school physics classes. This full-time role requires a passionate educator with a postgraduate degree in Physics and at least four years of teaching experience.
Teaching Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging physics lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum. Develop innovative teaching methods to enhance student understanding of core concepts like mechanics, electricity, and modern physics. Use interactive tools and experiments to make learning practical and effective.
Planning and Curriculum Development
Collaborate with the physics department to refine syllabus content and ensure alignment with academic standards. Stay updated on new educational trends and integrate them into lesson plans. Prepare detailed lesson notes and assessment frameworks for students.
Assessment and Evaluation
Conduct regular assessments to measure student progress in physics. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their problem-solving skills. Prepare annual progress reports and recommend interventions for students needing additional support.
Student Support and Mentorship
Act as a mentor to physics students, offering guidance on academic challenges and career aspirations. Foster a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore scientific inquiry. Organize physics-related workshops or competitions to boost interest in the subject.
Coordination and Collaboration
Work closely with other PGTs and subject coordinators to ensure cohesive curriculum delivery. Represent the physics department in meetings with school management and external educational bodies. Assist in organizing school events or science fairs related to physics.
This role offers a competitive salary of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month in a dynamic educational setting in South West Delhi. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, a commitment to student success, and a love for teaching physics.
