Responsibilities
Teach Economics at the senior secondary level in Maharaja Aggarsain Adarsh Public School, covering syllabus-based topics such as macroeconomics, microeconomics, and Indian economic policies. Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with CBSE guidelines, ensuring clarity and relevance to students’ academic growth.
Prepare and conduct practical sessions, including case studies and group discussions, to reinforce theoretical concepts with real-world applications. Assess student performance through continuous evaluation, including homework, quizzes, and periodic exams, while maintaining transparency in grading.
Collaborate with the subject coordinator and senior faculty to integrate Economics with other disciplines, fostering interdisciplinary learning where applicable. Maintain organized classroom records and submit regular progress reports as required by the school’s curriculum framework.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Economics with a specialisation in relevant subjects. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) for formal teaching eligibility.
Minimum four years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level, preferably in a reputed school or educational institution. Familiarity with CBSE Economics curriculum and examination patterns is advantageous.
Salary for the position will be Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month, subject to performance and institutional benefits. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Saraswati Vihar, North West Delhi.
